Some Librarians may have recently had their internet explorer web browser automatically update to version 10 in Windows 7. Internet Explorer 10 – appears to be causing some issues with the Spine / Pocket label printing. These steps should help with printing the labels from Internet Explorer 10.
Making this change in the Internet Explorer 10 web browser may also help the other web browsers in your system.
Quick Steps: 1. Turn on Internet Explorer Compatibility View / 2. Perform Print Preview of Labels / 3. Adjust Right and Bottom Margins while in Print Preview mode / 4. Print)
1. While logged into your verso system, Turn on the IE10 browsers (COMPATIBILITY VIEW). Choose Tools then Click on Compatibility View. Hence, you can check if compatibility view is on if you press Tools and see a check symbol to the Left of Compatibility View.
2. When you print Spine/Pocket labels, they always appear on your screen first. While the labels are visible on your screen, Instead of choosing Print…, choose (PRINT PREVIEW)
3. In Print Preview Mode - You will see the labels as they would appear in your print out.
We suggest you first perform a test print. Example, only print page 1 to blank piece of paper, then compare printout to your label stock.
If needed additional small adjustments to other margins or in some cases the ZOOM level can be done further while in Print Preview mode before printing.
This process may also be used in earlier versions of Internet Explorer as well if you are having similar issues.
